# Demo Usage Terms

These terms apply to use of the **QR Gate** system during the free trial (demo) period. By using the demo access, the participant is deemed to have accepted these terms.

**Please note:** demo access is granted on the basis of a separately signed *«Free trial period usage agreement»*. This page explains the general content of that agreement and does not replace it - in the event of any conflict, the signed agreement prevails.

## 1. Nature of demo use

- During the demo period the participant is granted the right to use the system solely for the purpose of **functional testing and evaluation**.
- The right granted is free of charge, non-exclusive, non-transferable to third parties and revocable.
- The trial period is **14 calendar days** from the moment the credentials are provided to the participant. Once the period expires, the right of use is terminated without further notice.
- Proveb MMC reserves the right to terminate demo access at any time without stating a reason.

## 2. Information obtained during the demo

- All information obtained during the demo period - including the structure of the system, its functions, report formats and technical solutions - may be used solely for **testing and evaluation**.
- Using this information for commercial purposes, distributing it or disclosing it to third parties is prohibited.
- Entering real employee data into the demo environment is not recommended. If it is entered, responsibility and the provision of a lawful basis rest with the participant.
- Data in the demo environment may be deleted once the period expires - it must not be relied on as an archive.

## 3. Restrictions

The demo participant has **no** right to:

- copy, imitate or reproduce the system in whole or in part;
- produce and distribute a visual reproduction by way of screenshot, video recording or any other means;
- create a similar / competing product drawing on the logic or design of the system, or assist a third party to that end;
- use reverse engineering, decompilation or automated tools in order to study the internal logic;
- disclose trade secrets or use the system for unauthorised purposes;
- pass credentials to persons outside the authorised staff.

These restrictions apply together with the **Intellectual Property Rights** document.

## 4. Confidentiality

Technical, technological and commercial information obtained in the course of the demo is considered confidential. The participant is obliged to take the necessary measures to protect this information; the obligation remains in force for 5 years after the end of the demo period.

## 5. No warranty

The demo environment is provided «as is». No guarantee is given during this period as to uninterrupted service, preservation of data or any specific outcome.

## 6. Liability for breach

Where a breach of these terms is identified, demo access is terminated immediately. Proveb MMC is entitled to claim compensation for actual damage and lost benefit, and to take legal measures in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan. System logs and access records are retained in order to establish the fact of a breach.

## 7. Commercial terms

After the demo period, use of the service continues on the basis of a separate subscription and the corresponding contract. Specific commercial terms, prices and the details of the parties are set out in a separately signed contract and are not published on this public page.
